I have loved these books since they were the first chapter books I read in elementary school. I thought finding them for the Kindle to share with my nieces and nephews was fantastic!The first three books in the set were fine; however, Mystery Ranch has several issues: When the girls first arrive in town where Maggie is picking them up, a few lines are missing as it goes straight from "Yes, I'm Maggie. I'm very glad to see you." to "I don't know," said Maggie. "Who was he?" Two paragraphs (30 words) are missing. Then in chapter 7 (The Boys Come), it skips from Jessie asking Aunt Jane if the boys can come to, within the same sentence in the Kindle version, the boys and Watch have arrived. Three paragraphs (81 words) are missing.Disappointed in the accuracy of the Kindle version, and hope it will be updated and corrected. Will update review further if more issues are found.

Seems to be a common problem with this seller. I am missing #4 and have 2 #6. It is not rocket science to get them in order. A mistake once is fine but all sorts of people on these reviews have the same issue. Now I have the hassle of returning the while box.

The kids are happy with books but it is not books 1-12 as stayed. Instead it is books 1-7 and then 5 higher than twelve skipping some books we wanted and giving us duplicates of a couple.

DON'T BUY THIS!!! Several pages and entire chapters are completely missing from every book. It's such a great price because it's missing so much contentEDIT: this is the Kindle Edition

The set looks great and was a good price... but, the first book is all messed up - it starts on page 31, is missing chapters, and duplicates some pages too. A quick glance seems to suggest that this is a problem with the first book only, but without examining every book page-by-page, I'm not sure how I can be sure its not a problem affecting more of them. Would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the publishing issues.

The Boxcar Children series is amazing. Other reviewers: this is electronic format - they don't have to reprint to fix an error. Please don't give low reviews without contacting support.We have read 90% of this with no problems or anything missing - I think all of the errors have been fixed.

Kindle version, Incomplete books, page to page incoherent as it is missing large sections. Should have checked the reviews prior to purchase. Disappointed daughter.

My favorite children's series in the 60's and they remain so today I completely enjoyed reading them again at 58 ! I can't wait for great grandchildren to share these adventures with once again hope I am still here! The stories aren't terribly outdated although the idea of no smart phones my need explaining! Enjoy they are wonderful stories.
