This book is all you need for Excel 2013. I am not an Excel guru and have only used it once in awhile. That should give you an idea of my competency with Excel. My wife, however knows Excel having used if for years. She had a question of how to do something and the book had the answer.

Great for the novice and those who have extensively used previous versions of Excel and need to take full advantage of the additional capabilities in 2013.

This book is 776 pages (not complaining, just an FYI). I bought it for an accounting class, but I see I can use this for anything related to Excel. If you've never had a "For Dummies" book before, just know that there is a lot of information that you may already know (the basics) and that does take up a good portion of the book. For beginners or those returning to school after being away for some time, it's perfect to get you on the right track.

This book is not for dummies. The language and technical terms presume that you already have an understanding of the system.The book guides you through the vast features of excel but fails to give you any purpose or reason for use of the commands.If you already know Microsoft word it will help you greatly with this book. For all others, it will overwhelm you.

Great book for both beginner and advanced MS-Excel users, and is up-to-date with enhanced functionality. Dummies books are the best and can easily take the place of a class. I keep this in my office to refer to, as I work with Excel on a pretty regular basis.

Dear Greg, I think you've spent too much time using Excel and not enough time teaching people how to use Excel. The index and TOC are both atrocious and incomprehensible. It will take you longer to find what you are looking for then to figure it out for yourself.

This booked really helped me on some of the more advanced features. Made it very simple to follow and understand.

Wasn't as useful as I had hoped for just have put it aside now
