Scott J. Jones is the Resident Bishop of the Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church and served as Bishop of the Great Plains area of The United Methodist Church. Our class is only an hour, so we aren't able to get through all the material in each lesson, but there is plenty to talk, and think, about.

I have been born and raised as a Methodist, but am learning many "Wesleyan Ways" that I never knew before. The whole class has commented that they really like this study! The Student is easy to read and writte so it is easily understood.

Great book that is easy to read clearly pointing out what John Wesley and Methodists believe.Beliefs and concepts are presented in an easy to understand way that Christians and non-Christians would find enlightening.The DVD of the same name presents interviews with ministers referenced in the book as well as some testimonies in the bonus material.The book and the DVD together make a great small group or adult Sunday School study.
